Disposable Armor was created with a simple mission: to help businesses and developers protect their services from abuse through disposable email addresses. We provide a reliable API that detects temporary and disposable email domains, helping you keep the quality of your user base high and reduce spam and fraud.

What We Do

Our service combines several detection methods to identify disposable email addresses. We maintain a blocklist of known disposable email domains, aggregated from established public blocklists plus verified community submissions and refreshed nightly, and supplement it on paid plans with MX-record analysis of a domain's mail infrastructure plus heuristic scoring of the address itself. This layered approach catches services that a plain domain lookup would miss.

Advanced Detection Technology

For our paid plan users, we provide access to advanced detection algorithms that go beyond simple domain matching. These include:

• MX-Record Analysis: Inspection of a domain's mail infrastructure to spot providers behind new or unlisted domains
• Apple Proxy Detection: Specialized detection for Apple's "Hide My Email" and Private Relay services
• Email Quality Scoring: In-house heuristics that score an address for aliasing, auto-generation, and role accounts
• Pattern-Based Checks: Rule-based analysis of address structure to catch newly created temporary services

Our Data Sources

Our blocklist is aggregated from established public disposable-domain lists and refreshed nightly, so new services are picked up as those sources add them. We also accept community submissions, which go through a verification step before being added, to catch domains the public lists have missed.
